The Indians boys track team traveled to Northeastern for the Knight Invite and struggled in the cold and windy conditions. The boys were competitive in most of the events for the Indians but the boys from Yorktown and Tri High were able to win with their speed and in the field events.
Blayne Daniels had a solid night for the Indians picking up a 6th place finish in the 100 and 4th in the 200 against that fastest runners he had seen this year.
Eli Moore finished 16th in the 100 but played a huge part in helping the Indians 4×400 team take the win over top team in the sectional Yorktown.
Conner Walser and Michael Vore both lined up together in very fast 1600 race. Conner ran a solid race keeping up with the lead pack most of the race coming across the finish line in 11th. Michael was up for the challenge and did well for the Indians in the windy 1600m race finishing in 17th while being close to getting a new PR.
Landen Dickmann had a great day for the Indians in the 110mh finishing 6th and being the top county placer. In the 300mh Landen struggled after nearly falling but managed to keep it together for a 9th place finish for the Indians.
Colin Anguiano, Josiah Bowers, Lucas Lykins and Michael Vore teamed up to run the 4×800 for the Indians to get the meet started and ran just short of a new personal record in the strongest wind of the day.
Tabius Reagan was the top county placer in Discus finishing 5th for the Indians only being beat by some of the top throwers in the Connersville sectional and Muncie Central sectional.
The boys 4×400 team of Blayne Daniels, Alec Spence, Eli Moore and Conner Walser were the lone blue ribbon for the Indians. All 4 boys ran near perfect races to take the win away from Yorktown as Conner Walser passed for the lead with just over 100m left in the race.

The Indians are back in action Monday for Senior Night against Randolph Southern, Richmond and Blackford.
