On Thursday evening, the UC Indians Boys’ Golf team engaged in an intense match against Tri-High. Despite their valiant efforts, the team fell short of their target score. However, it is important to recognize that the team continues to demonstrate progress and consistently improves their scores. UC’s top performers include Cooper Woolston who achieved a score of 55. UC's #2 Alejandro Gonzalez surpassed the team’s previous best with a score of 52. Additionally, Charlie Beam, UC's #3 golfer, recorded a score of 60. Our lone freshman, #4 Jalen Claywell achieved a score of 53. These young men's dedication and determination are evident in their ongoing efforts to refine their golf skills. Despite the team’s small size, their unwavering commitment is truly inspiring. The boys will be in action next Monday at 5:00 at Cowan's home course at Maplewood Golf Club in Muncie.
