The Union City Indians baseball team traveled to Berne on Saturday for a single non-conference game. The Starfires (2-2) scored 5 unearned runs and were able to hold the Indians scoreless. Cam LaFuze had a big day going 2-3 with a single and a double. Cam also started on the mound and pitched well giving
The Indians game with Knightstown was stopped after 4 innings because of rain. (And I mean ALOT OF RAIN!) The Indians were playing well with Zack Fulk on the mound but were behind 2-0. A date to finish the game has not been announced. The next scheduled games for the Indians are at South Adams.
