The JHXC Team traveled to Centerville on Saturday morning filled with great weather and results. The JHXC Lady Indians finished 5th as a team and was only four points from 3rd. The Lady Indians were led by Faith 15:51, 13/46, followed by Phoebe 16:11, 15/46, Lyla 16:37, 18/46, Christiana 16:44, 19/46, Aleah 17:23, 25/46, Kara 20:01, 34/46 and Shelby 21:18, 39/46. The course length was 2 miles and it is exciting to watch how hard our Lady Indians run! The JHXC Boys Team was led by Dash, who had to dig deep to finish first in a sprint to the finish line, 11:37, 1/41, Dylan had a Top Ten finish 13:06, 7/41, Mikkel 15:34, 28/41 and Jackson 17:55, 36/41. Mikkel continues to become stronger with each race and Jackson, despite not feeling the best, persevered to finish well. The JHXC Team will be back at Centerville on October 7 for the TEC, which promises to be very competitive.
