On Wednesday evening, the Union City boys’ golf team engaged in an intense match against their TEC opponent, Hagerstown, at Winchester Golf Course. Despite their efforts, the Indians fell short of securing a victory. The team has been diligently working on refining their game, aiming to minimize strokes off their scores. This strategy has proven effective, as they have consistently achieved this goal in their matches. Alejandro Gonzalez #2 recorded the best score of the night with a 51. Cooper Woolston, the team’s number one golfer, shot a 53, while Charlie Beam, the number #3 recorded a 57, and Jalen Claywell, the number four golfer, shot a 62. The Indians will continue their competitive schedule on Monday at Centerville. They will then return home for a match against Northeastern on Thursday. Finally, on Saturday, the team will participate in the county tournament.
