On Thursday evening, the Union City boys varsity golf team faced off against Northeastern, a TEC opponent. Despite their commendable performance, the team fell short of victory. Leading scores were achieved by Alejandro Gonzalez, who shot a 54, Cooper Woolston, who recorded a team-best 52, and Charlie Beam and Jalen Claywell, both of whom shot 60. The team will resume action tomorrow morning at the WGC to participate in the County tournament at 8:00 AM.
