The Lady Indians bounced back, getting a victory over New Castle, 50-23. The Indians came out ready and got an early lead and never looked back, outscoring the Trojans 14-5 in the second quarter and 16-3 in the third. The Indians were led by Lulu with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Kerns added 10 points and 9 rebounds, Black 9 points 11 rebounds and 6 assists and Smith added 8 points for the Indians. The Indians move to 3-1 and will be back in action again on Friday at home for their first conference match-up with Northeastern.  The Junior Varsity was defeated 9-47 by New Castle. Evans had 4 points and 8 rebounds and Jones added 4 points. They will tip at 6:00 on Friday.
