The JH Boys Basketball traveled to Randolph Southern Thursday evening for a County match-up. The 7th grade boys were victorious 23-20. The 8th grade boys were also victorious 43-31. Dylan Shinaver led all scorers with 19 points followed by Tayson Barbour with 9 points. Tayson enjoyed his best overall performance of the season with a great game. Despite some foul trouble, Cale Holt poured in 8 points and made his presence felt inside the paint with rebounding and defending. Dash Thacker coninues to play an impactful role as a point guard, including adding assists and 6 points. Cooper Woolston added rebounding and scoring. Keegan Cooper added quality minutes with excellent rebounding. Liam Conley continues to improve each game. Jadden Lopez-Forthe continues to lead the team in every defensive category with deflections and steals. Jadden is the best defensive player on the floor. Landon Crabtree, Jordan Hylton and Jose Jimenez-Ulloa continue to make a differenence. The next game is Monday at Jay County.
