The JH Boys Basketball Team hosted Winchester Thursday evening. The 8th grade score: Winchester 45, Union City 38. Both teams played hard as the game went back and forth with each team having their time of making a run. The Indians were led in scoring by Dylan Shinaver and Dash Thacker with 14 and 13 points respectively. Tayson Barbour had a good night of defending and adding 6 points. Cale Holt added 3 points and contributes in many ways that does not show up in the scorebook with defending the basket and rebounding. Jadden Lopez-Forsythe added 2 points and is consistently one of the best defenders each night. Cooper Woolston, Keegan Cooper, Jordan Hylton, Liam Contley and Jose' Jimenez-Ulloa each played an important role. Landon Crabtree continues to be a great teammate. The next game is Monday @ Monroe Central.
