It was a great day at Wapahani on Saturday! Every runner on the team ran their best times of the season with Josiah Bowers and Scott O'Connor both running new personal best times! In the girls race Ava Jefferis ran her best race of the year facing other girls from the county who she has raced all season. Ava took nearly a minute off of her time from the previous meet. Ava finished in the top 25 for the Indians placing 22nd with a time of 25:37.5. In the Boys race Conner Cline, Scott O'Connor and Josiah Bowers all represented the Indians very well. Cline took a minute off of his time from Wednesday and once again passed a competitor in the final 100m to finish 37th with a time of 21:30.1. Scott O'Connor ran his first high school meet and showed he can compete with everyone. O'Connor crossed the line in 53rd place with a time of 24:22.1.
