The Union City Indians hosted the Super Six wrestling tournament on Saturday December 9th, which included the Eastern Hancock Royals, Wapahani Raiders , Hamilton Heights Huskies, Blackford County Bruins, Culver Academies and Union Rockets. There was a lot of tough competition for the day, but our Indians produced two Super Six Champions who went undefeated for the day, Bradin Daniels in the 132-pound class and Joseangel Prez-Contreras in the 106-pound class. Austin Roth finished the day with a 4-1 record. The team worked very hard and there is a lot of young talent that is taking over the mat and they will be a team to keep your eye on. The team is on the road this Wednesday at Lincoln High School with a start time of 6:00 pm.
