Recap: Union City Indians vs. Knightstown Panthers Saturday 12/9/23 The Union City Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 22 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 62-37 margin over Knightstown. For Union City, this counts as revenge for the 69-45 loss Knightstown walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022. Conner Walser was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with three steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Walser has scored at least 25% of Union City's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Angel Nieto, who scored nine points. Union City's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Knightstown, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-1. Union City will head out on the road to face off against Tri at 7:45 p.m.
