The Lady Indians fell to the Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks in a close cross town match-up, 51-54. They were led in scoring by Lulu with 25 points and 11 rebounds. Reichard added 15 points and 2 assists. Fischer dropped in 9 and Kerns had 6 rebounds for the Indians. The Indians came out ready to go, getting a quick lead on the Blackhawks and led 33-22 at the half. A big 3rd quarter from the Blackhawks would result in a tie ball game entering the 4th. The game was back and forth from then on. The Indians had a look at the buzzer to tie the game but the shot wouldn't fall. They fought hard and never backed down. The Indians are now 10-12 and will play at Hagerstown on Friday for the last regular season game. Only varsity will play, following the JV boys game and the varsity boys to follow the girls varsity. JV boys begin at 5:30. The JV was also defeated by MV, 17-41. Jones led the Indians with 9 points and 6 rebounds. This was the last game of the season for the JV.
