The JH Boys Basketball team traveled to Seton Catholic Wednesday evening. 8th grade score: UC 45, Seton 21. The Indians were led in scoring by Tayson Barbour with 15 points. Tayson scored most of his points in the paint with great offensive rebounding and running the court in transition. Dash Thacker led the team with assists with several good passes to Tayson and Keegan. Dash scored 8 points, despite only playing 3 quarters. Jadden Lopez-Forsythe had a great game with 9 points, all from steals. Jadden is quick and has great anticipation skills. The inside was controlled by Cale Holt and Keegan Cooper. Cale led the team again with rebounds defense. Cale scored 6 points and Keegan added 7 points. Cale and Keegan did a nice job of defending the lane with blocked shots or altering the opponent's shots. Jordan Hylton, Liam Conley and Landon Crabtree did not score, but make a difference in other areas of the game; such as rebounding, deflections, setting screens and unselfish play. The next game for the JH Boys team is this Saturday for the County Tournament.
