The Lady Indians are your 2024 SECTIONAL CHAMPIONS. They edged out the #9 ranked Tri High Titans in an exhilarating championship game, 49-45. The Indians started the game with a big first quarter and led the Titans 17-6 after one. The lead would remain at 10 in favor of the Indians going into halftime. The Titans turned up the heat and came out of halftime with a big third quarter and cut the lead to 1 heading into the final quarter. The two teams traded baskets the entire fourth quarter but it would be the Indians finishing on top. It was a true team effort and the Indians played hard for 32 minutes, battling and keeping composure, earning themselves the title of Sectional Champions. The Indians will be playing for a Regional title on Saturday February 10th, details to come.
