The boys track team made their way into Ohio once again and ran well against Ansonia, Preble Shawnee and Troy Christian. Competing in just their second meet of the season and missing some do to other sports the boys all made big strides as the season begins to take off. Jayson Connor and Luis Nieto got the boys started in the 110mh and both had great finishes for the team. Jayson crossed the line in 1st place while Luis finished 4th. In the 100m dash Scott O'Connor ran nearly the exact same time that he ran a week ago at Greenville. Scott finished 10th for the Indians before getting lined up for the 1600m. Scott placed 6th and took off an impressive 22 seconds off of his time from a year ago. The boys 4x100 team lead by Alec Spence, Jackson Cowper, Colton Emrick and Conner Walser ran their best time of the year and placed first over a very solid Ansonia team. In the 400m it was all Grant Elliott as he was running the race for just the second time. Grant placed 8th for the Indians while competing at High Jump at the same time. Conner Walser lead the way in the 300mh but Alec Spence wasn't far behind. Walser running the hurdles for the first time this season took off where he left off last season while Spence was checking the hurdles out for the first time. Once it was all over Walser took the win while Spence placed 4th in a very competitive race.
