The Lady Indians Tennis team battled and obtained their first win of the season on Monday, April 15th. It was a beautiful night for a big TEC win against the Union County Patriots. Camryn Fischer battled and confidently won #1 singles with scores of 6-1 and 6-0. Elizabeth Prinkey had a great night and won #2 singles with scores of 6-0 and 6-1. Ashley Garrett came to win! Ashley played #3 singles and won with scores of 6-1 and 6-4. Shelby Arnold and Addison Thornburg played #1 doubles and were defeated by the Patriots with scores of 1-6 and 4-6. Kiernan Watson and Luane Schoonbroodt played #2 doubles and were also defeated with scores of 2-6 and 4-6. Miranda Clark and Isabella Bahena had a great night of playing though they fell short of the win. They worked hard by playing multiple matches for the JV team both as singles and as doubles. All of the ladies are working hard each week to get better and it shows! They all had a GREAT night. We invite you to come enjoy the weather and support your lady Indians tennis team. Their next match is tomorrow @ Seton Catholic, location is Earlham College. Their next home match is Thursday against Winchester, starting at 4:30. Great work, ladies! Sent from my iPhone
