The lady Indians traveled to Wes-Del Tuesday night to battle with county schools Winchester and Randolph Southern and were able to have their best meet of the year. While the girls team continues to grow it makes it a lot tougher for this group to do well because of the amount of work they have to do each meet but they all find some way to dig deep and do well to keep the meets close. These girls are all great athletes. Maegan Dickmann and Campbell Kerns got things going for the Indians in the 100mh and after it was all finished Dickmann placed second just missing the top spot by less than a second and Kerns placed 6th for the Indians just missing out on her best run of the season. Ava Jefferis battled a strong field of girls in the 1600m run and was able to run to a new PR taking off one second from her previous best. The girls 4x100 relay team of LuLu, Allyson Carter, Emmi Kreiner and Novah Mote ran a new PR and was able to place 3rd. After the relay it was Allyson Carter and LuLu back up to tackle the 400m dash and neither one disappointed as both girls were able to set up PR's in the race and top 4 finishes. LuLu placed 2nd for the Indians while Carter was one second back placing 4th. Maegan Dickmann running the 300mh for the Indians once again battled the girls from the county school and was able to run her second best race of the season and a 4th place finish. Ava Jefferis was once again back up to go to work in the 800m run and once again set a new PR in the event beating her previous best time by three seconds that she set last season at the Randolph County meet. Emmi Kreiner was the top Indian girl in the 200m dash placing 4th and just missing out on her PR of the season. The girls 4x400 relay team of Emmi Kreiner, LuLu, Ava Jefferis and Allyson Carter closed out the night for the girls running as they ran to a three second PR and a 3rd place finish. In long jump it was Campbell Kerns and Novah Mote for the Indians and after it was all finished Kerns was the top Indian placing second with her best jump of the season and Novah Mote with a new PR jump placed third for the Indians.
