The Lady Indians tennis team travelled to Blue River on Monday. They lost to a really good team however we’re proud of our effort. Camryn Fischer battled and lost at #1 singles with scores of 1-6 and 1-6. Elizabeth Prinkey had a great night and won #2 singles with scores of 6-1 and 6-1. Ashley Garrett had another great night at #3 singles and won with scores of 6-1 and 6-2. Shelby Arnold and Addison Thornburg played well at #1 doubles however were defeated with scores of 3-6 and 4-6. Kiernan Watson and Luane Schoonbroodt played #2 doubles and were also defeated with scores of 3-6 and 4-6. Miranda Clark and Isabella Bahena did a great job playing for our JV doubles. They played very well though didn’t get the win. They’re excited as they continue their season. Weather caused the ladies to postpone the match on Tuesday. However they will be hosting Jay County Patriots on Wednesday starting at 5:00 p.m. They invite you to come support them. And come visit the track team and baseball team as well as they are all hosting home events. See you there!
