The lady Indians traveled to Northeastern Thursday night for the Conference track meet and another meet in the rain, cold and wind. While it wasn't the best meet of the year for the girls they all gave it everything they had and that is hard to do when there are breaks between events. During the rain early in the meet each girl had to go out and participate in one of their events making for no chance of staying dry during the meet and they all took it like champs! In the 100mh it was Maegan Dickmann and Campbell Kerns both having great races. Dickmann ran just shy of her PR and a 4th place finish while Kerns was able to run to a new PR for the second meet in a row and a 11th place finish. In the 100m dash Sofia Emrick ran her third fastest time of the year against a very competitive group of girls placing 14th for the Indians. Ava Jefferis continued to do great things in the 1600m run and for the fourth meet in a row she was able run a new PR and placed 5th. Ava has taken off 21 seconds off of her time over the last five meets. The girls 4x100 relay team of Emmi Kreiner, Allyson Carter, Novah Mote and LuLu had one of their best races of the year placing 7th for the Indians just missing out on a new PR for the relay team. LuLu and Allyson Carter once again got back up to the line to do battle in the 400m dash after running the relay. LuLu was able to battle her way up to a 5th place finish while Allyson ran to a 11th place finish and a new PR for the 5th meet in a row. Carter has taken four seconds off of her time in the last five meets. Maegan Dickmann was back up for the 300mh and once again ran to a top ten finish and her fourth best time of the season and a 10th place finish. Ava Jefferis and Sofia Emrick were both ready to battle in the 800m run and after crossing the finish line both girls ran great races. Jefferis once again set a new PR for the fifth meet in a row and a 6th place finish. Emrick running the 800m for just the second time was able to place 12th in a race of all solid runners. Emmi Kreiner and Novah Mote were up in the 200m dash and Kreiner finished 12th while Mote wasn't far behind placing 14th just missing out on her PR. The girls 4x400 relay team of LuLu, Ava Jefferis, Allyson Carter and Emmi Kreiner ran their second fastest time of the season and a 6th place finish to close out the night for the team. In long jump Novah Mote and Campbell Kerns both girls struggled due to the board being slick but still managed to place 12th and 14th. Mote was the leader placing 12th while Kerns placed 14th. Sofia Emrick was the lone ranger in the shot put and as the season goes along she has gotten better and that didn't change on Thursday. Emrick placed 16th for the Indians.
