This next statement may shock some of you but I'm calling this County Tourney Round 1 the "happiest loss of the season". Unfortunately, the Lady Indians did not bring home a county victory tonight, but faced up again tough Tec opponent, Winchester Lady Falcons. I have never been so proud of our ladies. Playing Winchester has not only always been a physical challenge, but also a mental challenge, because so many of the girls are friends with the opponent. We played tough mentally tonight and came out on top in the 2nd set 26-24 (that small win!!!) after a 1st set, back-and-forth loss, at 17-25. Other set scores were 14-25 (3rd) and a close 4th set at 19-25. Again, we (coaches and fans) are SO PROUD of the fight they gave. Regardless of the outcome, we made our small wins tonight and the team left with confidence to keep moving forward... building their team spirit... and accountability. You can ask anyone who watched tonight. Probably the best they've seen this UC team play together all year! Be the Change! We love you girls! ♡♡♡
