The Indians drove South to Lynn on Saturday morning for the Randolph Southern Invitational and came away with their best meet to date! Ava Jefferis and Kara Walser represented the Indians in the girls race with Campbell Kerns under the weather sitting out. When the gun went off 70 girls were battling hoping for a good race. Jefferis was up in the top 15 after the first 1.5 miles and continued to battle her way to a 11th place finish with a season best time of 21:55 and just missing her PR. Kara Walser was next to cross the finish line for the Indians. After battling some hip pain a few days ago Walser was able to run new PR of 30:23 and finish 58th for the Indians. Jackson Liss lined up in the Boys race to represent the Indians and after having a great week in practice came out and ran a new PR by 1:11. Liss crossed the finish line in 100th place with a time of 25:25. The Indians are back in action on Tuesday September 17th at Union County with Girls beginning at 6:00. **We also want to congratulate the Boys Tennis team on winning their County Tournament once again**
