On Saturday 9-14-24 Union City hosted this years Randolph County Boys Tennis Championship. The day turned into a celebration for the Indians. First match of the day put the Winchester Golden Falcons versus the Randolph Southern Rebels. Winchester came out victorious with a 4-1 match score. Match 2 of the day had the Indians versus the Rebels. The Indians won 4-1. The third and final match of the day would decide the team championship. Union City versus Winchester. Union City won 3-2 to capture the team championship. Individual Randolph County Champions were also crowned on the day. Number 1 Single's went to Noah Allen of Randolph Southern. Number 2 Singles went to Jacob Thornburg of Union City. Number 3 Singles went to Kolton Mills of Union City. Number 1 and 2 Doubles went to Winchester Foster Kratoska, Aiden Mendenhall and Rogen Auker , Gabe Overton.
