The Lady Indians lost to the Starfires 45-50. A few lead changes in the second half would end in favor of South Adams as the Indians couldn't stay on top. The Indians outscored the Starfires in the third 16-6. Ordonez would give the Indians a spark with two treys and Fishcer would convert on the inside to boost the Indians. After three the Indians led 40-38. A late three point basket by Reichard in the fourth would keep the Indians within striking distance but foul trouble plagued the Indians as they lost both Reichard and Ordonez late in the fourth. Union City was led by Reichard with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Fischer added 13 points and 8 rebounds. Ordonez would add 8 for the Indians. The Indians are now 2-4 on the season and won't play again until November 30 when they will take on the Monroe Central Bears at home, JV tip at 6:00. The Junior Varsity also fell to the Starfires 34-15. Blankley led with 9 points, 8 rebounds. Evans had 4 points and 8 rebounds. They move to 1-5 on the season and will play the Bears November 30.
