Union City hosted Wes-Del Tuesday and lost its second game of the season 72-38. The Indians got scoring contributions from Angel Nieto, Cam LaFuze, Conner Walser, Jackson Cowper, and Zack Fulk in the first half. The UC defense gave up 48 first half points putting the Indians down by 24. In the last two quarters, Union City struggled offensively getting a combined 14 points from Walser, Nieto, Colton Emrick, and Jace O’Connor. The Warriors scored 24 points to claim the final victory. The Indians were led by Nieto with 13 points. Walser added nine points, and LaFuze had eight points. Cowper had three points, O’Connor and Emrick had two points each, and Fulk had one point. Warriors claim reserve contest. The junior varsity Indians were defeated by Wes-Del 41-30.
