The 7th grade traveled to Mississinawa Valley Thursday evening for a cross town matchup. The Hawks came out on top, 43 to 19. The Indians had four players in the scoring column, Adyren Hurtado led the way with 8 points, Luis Jimenez-Ulloa and Luke Jefferis added 5 points each, and Reid Kerns added 3 points. Adryen had another big night on the boards. Reid and Luke continue to develop their game of distributing the ball and driving. Luis has been a consistent player all year. Drake Payne continues to play hard with several hustle plays that either leads to steals or a teammate scoring. Tristan Dohme is among the best defensive players on the team with a good anticipation skills. Jesse Fung and Baylee Brock are very enjoyable to watch because how hard they compete. The Indians next game is this Saturday at Randolph Southern for a tournament.
