The Lady Indians came out ready to go on Friday and defeated the Lady Rebels 39-25 to earn their spot in the County Championship game. The Indians took a 24-10 lead in at halftime and wouldn't let the Rebels back in the game after that. The Rebels continued to fight back after Oaklee Reichard fouled out early in the 4th but some senior leadership from Gabby Ordonez and big free throws from Novah Mote sealed the Indians victory. The Indians were led in scoring by Oaklee Reichard with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Mote added 12 points and Kerns had 9 rebounds. The Indians gained control of the county key and will face off against Monroe Central in the championship game at Winchester beginning at 6PM.
