Wrestlers wrestle in TEC Tournamnet

The Indians wrestled in the TEC Tournament today where Sophomore Bradin Daniels dominated the 126 pound weight class taking down a state ranked wrestler to claim the championship. Freshman Xavier Hill also was a Championship finalist but fell short and ended with a second place finish in the 195 pound class. Also placing for the day was 145 pound Sophomore Austin Roth 5th place, Freshman 132 pound Gavin Elmore and 160 pound Freshman Evan Sanders, which both ended in 6th place. 126 pound Sophomore Conner Cline went into the tournament as a second seed but was unable to compete due to a shoulder injury. Also not able to compete for the day due to injuries were Brayden Timmerman, Felix Nicholas-Cruz, and Nathan Partin. Next week you can watch the Indians in action as they wrestle for sectional titles in Jay County at 8:30 a.m.
