These AMAZING girls performed 2 routines, competing against 6 other schools in their divison. Our girls placed 2nd overall for their Game Day routine!!! They were also awarded trophies for Most Improved (this week’s growth) and Hardest Working, in their divison! I know I’ve said it all week but I am SO PROUD of these girls!! These girls were SO nervous for camp. Not a single one of them had ever been to an overnight camp, let alone a camp that’s an hour from home, and 4 days long! This “tiny” team attend a camp with 22 other schools, with some teams bigger than 30 cheerleaders! They never let their size get in their way! They not only learned new skills and material, they bonded, they made new friends, they learned to be flexible with change, and they showed themselves that they deserved to be there! I could go on and on, but just know I’m so thrilled to be their coach! ❤️💙🎉 They are coming back home with so much knowledge and growth - I’m excited to see where this season takes them! #UCPride 🎉💙❤️
