🏆 Indians Sweep Randolph Southern, 5-0 The Union City boys’ tennis team wrapped up the week in impressive fashion Thursday at home, earning a 5-0 victory over Randolph Southern. The Indians played extremely well from top to bottom, showing great focus, competitiveness, and continued improvement throughout the lineup. 🎾 Singles No. 1 Singles – Luis Nieto Nieto continued his strong play at No. 1 singles, dominating his match and earning a 6-0, 6-0 victory. No. 2 Singles – Reid Kerns With Levi Clark out of the lineup, Kerns stepped up from No. 3 singles to No. 2. Reid answered the challenge with an impressive 6-0, 6-2 victory. No. 3 Singles – Jet Thacker Jet Thacker moved up from JV to the varsity lineup at No. 3 singles and made the most of the opportunity. Thacker played a strong match, winning 6-1, 6-1. 🎾 Doubles No. 1 Doubles – Asa Vaughn & Gabe Thomas Vaughn and Thomas came out strong and never let up, earning a convincing 6-3, 6-0 victory. No. 2 Doubles – Luke Jefferis & Lucas Lynch The freshman duo of Jefferis and Lynch played with complete control throughout their match. The two continue to grow and gain valuable experience with every match they play. 💪 Getting Better Every Day Charlie Beam and Eli Cooper also put in the work, playing against each other to continue developing their games and getting valuable reps.
