🏆 INDIANS BATTLE PAST TRI HIGH, 3–2 The Union City boys’ tennis team was back at home this evening as the Indians welcomed conference opponent Tri High for a hard-fought battle. When the final ball was struck, Union City came away with a 3–2 victory, continuing a strong start to the season. 🎾 Singles No. 1 Singles – Luis Nieto Nieto continued his impressive season with a dominant 6–1, 6–0 victory. With the win, Luis improves to 4–1 on the season. No. 2 Singles – Levi Clark Clark battled his way to another solid victory, defeating his opponent 6–1, 6–3. Levi improves to 3–2 on the year. No. 3 Singles – Reid Kerns Kerns added another point to the Indians’ total with a convincing 6–3, 6–0 win. Reid now moves to 4–1 for the season. 🎾 Doubles No. 1 Doubles – Charlie Beam & Gabe Thomas Beam and Thomas battled hard but came up short, falling 1–6, 2–6. The duo’s record stands at 2–3 on the season. No. 2 Doubles – Luke Jefferis & Lucas Lynch Jefferis and Lynch fought through a competitive match before falling 3–6, 6–6 (1–7) in the tiebreak. The pair is now 3–2 on the season. 🔴⚪ Indians Improve to 3–2 Victory The Indians showed great fight throughout the lineup, earning three crucial singles victories to secure the 3–2 team win over Tri High. Union City will be back in action Wednesday at home against Centerville, a non-TEC opponent, before hitting the road Thursday to take on South Adams. Great job, Indians! Keep battling! 🎾🔥
