🏆 INDIANS BATTLE PAST TRI HIGH, 3–2 The Union City boys’ tennis team was back at home this evening as the Indians welcomed conference opponent Tri High for a hard-fought battle. When the final ball was struck, Union City came away with a 3–2 victory, continuing a strong start to the season. 🎾 Singles No. 1 Singles – Luis Nieto Nieto continued his impressive season with a dominant 6–1, 6–0 victory. With the win, Luis improves to 4–1 on the season. No. 2 Singles – Levi Clark Clark battled his way to another solid victory, defeating his opponent 6–1, 6–3. Levi improves to 3–2 on the year. No. 3 Singles – Reid Kerns Kerns added another point to the Indians’ total with a convincing 6–3, 6–0 win. Reid now moves to 4–1 for the season. 🎾 Doubles No. 1 Doubles – Charlie Beam & Gabe Thomas Beam and Thomas battled hard but came up short, falling 1–6, 2–6. The duo’s record stands at 2–3 on the season. No. 2 Doubles – Luke Jefferis & Lucas Lynch Jefferis and Lynch fought through a competitive match before falling 3–6, 6–6 (1–7) in the tiebreak. The pair is now 3–2 on the season. 🔴⚪ Indians Improve to 3–2 Victory The Indians showed great fight throughout the lineup, earning three crucial singles victories to secure the 3–2 team win over Tri High.
